Dear Chapter Leaders,
As I mentioned in my March 11 E-mail to chapter
presidents, the Massage Therapy BOK Consortium, the
initial organizing group discussing the body of
knowledge for the profession, has developed an
executive summary of their work to date. Your Board
of Directors wants you to be aware of the work of
the group and how this process will continue to
develop.
Here is a
LINK to the executive summary. Keep in mind that
this is a message from the group, of which AMTA is
the convener. The National Office also will send the
executive summary via E-mail to all members in
April. Then it will be posted for all to see on the
AMTA website and you can feel free to add a link to
it from your chapter website.
Progress on the body of knowledge for the profession
is continuing to move forward. We will send you
information as the consortium has more to report.
